Privacy Policy for Boba, Please!
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Boba, Please! respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you play the game and how it is used.
There is no account, no login, and no email box in Boba, Please!. We never ask who you are.
Gameplay Analytics
Boba, Please! sends limited pseudonymous events to Ape Made's boba_game_events table, hosted with Supabase. In plain terms, we record:
-
How far you got — tutorial steps, which boba stages you reached
-
What you tapped — buttons and decorations used during play
-
Ads — which ad slot appeared, whether it loaded, and for rewarded ads whether it was completed and the reward given
-
Basic technical details — a random session identifier, the date and time, the game version, the platform, and the reason if something failed to load
We use this only to balance and improve the game: which boba mix players stall on, whether customisation were fun, and where players stop.
The table does not intentionally store names, email addresses, Poki account IDs, advertising IDs, exact location, messages, images, audio, contacts, or payment information.
Supabase may process ordinary network information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps while providing its infrastructure, even though Boba, Please! does not write those values into boba_game_events. Supabase describes how it handles customer application data in its Privacy Policy: https://supabase.com/privacy
The Session Identifier
The random identifier is created fresh each time the game loads and exists only for that play session. It is not saved to your device, is not linked to any account, and is not reused the next time you play.
This means we cannot tell that two sessions came from the same person, and we have no way to connect any row to you.
Advertising and Poki
Ads in Boba, Please! are served and controlled by Poki, not by us. We do not include advertising code of our own, and the gameplay events above are never used for advertising or shared with advertisers.
Poki hosts the game and collects its own information under its own privacy policy, which is separate from this one: https://poki.com/en/privacy
We only see Poki's figures as totals in a dashboard, such as players per day and average session length. Never an individual person.
Children's Privacy
Boba, Please! is built to be safe for younger players, which is why it asks for nothing personal. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and there is no chat, profile, or way for a player to send us text.
Ad settings and consent for younger players on Poki are handled by Poki under its own policy. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about data collected through the game, please contact us.
Data Sharing
We do not sell player data. The events are stored with Supabase, which hosts the database on our behalf, and are read only by Ape Made.
How Long We Keep It
Gameplay events are kept for [ 12 months ], then deleted or reduced to totals.
Your Rights and What We Can Actually Do
Privacy law gives you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, and to complain to your data protection authority.
We want to be straightforward about a limit here. Because the session identifier is random and is not stored on your device, we have no way to find which rows came from you, and no way to verify that any given request relates to them. This means we cannot action an access or deletion request for gameplay events, because doing so would require identifying you, and we deliberately built the game so that we cannot.
If you want to stop the game sending events at all, you can stop playing, or block requests to our domain using a browser extension or your browser's settings.
We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the game.
Changes to This Policy
If we start collecting something new, we will update the list above before the change goes live, and update the date at the top.
